Reflections and Impressions is devoted to bringing the worlds of digital landscape and nature photography to life as a focus for inspiring and fostering creative learning and expression. Through a combination of visual and creative arts, education, and outreach, R & I aims to improve teaching and learning of the natural sciences, mathematics, language arts, and other disciplines, while helping expand knowledge of, and develop appreciation for, the natural world that we all share. R & I offers programs and services related to digital photography and education, particularly with an emphasis on young people, who will be entrusted to maintain our fragile world when they are older. Developing the ability to learn on an ongoing basis, through application of knowledge and skills to new areas, and to gain new learning experiences, is at the core of R & I's educational philosophy.
